Grass fire causing visibility issues on Mosquito First Nation near Highway 4

Battlefords RCMP are assisting local emergency crews on Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation as they battle a grass fire near Highway 4.
Officers advised that smoke from the fire is impacting visibility in the area. They are now asking drivers travelling on Highway 4 to slow down and follow any instructions from emergency personnel on scene, adding that delays should be expected.
For updates on road conditions, RCMP urge those to call their local detachment instead of dialling 911.
