Prince Albert Housing manager investigated for fraud

The former manager of the Prince Albert Housing Authority is being investigated for fraud.

The case first came to light when the Province of Saskatchewan issued its annual report of public losses on Monday morning.

Between 2020 and February 2025, the general manager of the Prince Albert Housing Authority is alleged to have misappropriated money by ‘altering invoices for personal reimbursement.’

A preliminary estimate shows the fraud at more than $5,000.

The manager has been fired and the Prince Albert Police confirmed they are investigating the complaint, which was filed on March 28.
