Update: Portion of 101st Street reopened after structure fire in North Battleford

More details have been released about a structure fire this afternoon in North Battleford.
The city was forced to close the road around the 1600 block of 101st Street because of the blaze; however, it has since reopened.
An update from the city said the fire began in the basement of the structure. Three residents were able to exit safely. Firefighters were also able to rescue a dog from the scene and return it to its owner.
The cause of the blaze is being ruled as “undetermined”, and there was no impact to any neighbouring structures.
