If you were at an identified location during the specified times below, the SHA advises to monitor for measles symptoms for up to 21 days after exposure. Call HealthLine 811 if you were exposed and are unvaccinated, or are unsure of your vaccination status for measles, or develop measles symptoms which include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, fatigue, irritability, small, white spots (known as Koplik spots) inside the mouth and throat and a red blotchy rash which develops on the face and spreads down the body about three to seven days after symptoms begin and can last four to seven days.

Measles is a highly contagious and can spread very easily to others through the air. Measles is prevented by vaccination.

Other measles exposure risks were identified earlier this week in Rosthern, Preeceville, Saskatoon, Rosetown and Kindersley. On Thursday, Dr. Saqib Shahab announced there were 27 cases of measles across the province.
