Almost seven months have passed since a car jacking north of Prince Albert resulted in a man being sent to hospital with a gunshot wound.

One of the people alleged responsible remains unaccounted for and the RCMP are still hoping to find 28-year-old Dallas Fulton, who last seen in the Thunder Rapids area north of Carrot River.

On April 30 and May 1, the General Investigation Section, WEST, and the Search and Rescue team once again searched the wooded area near Thunder Rapids where he was last seen.

Several civilian search and rescue groups also joined in the search but were not successful in finding any signs of Fulton.

At the same time, officer would like to talk to 22-year-old Brody Lebel in connection with the investigation.

The public is being reminded that Lebel has not been charged in connection with the incident so limited amounts of information can be shared on why they need to talk to him.

He was reported missing from Prince Albert in October, around the same time as Fulton went missing.

Fulton is suspected, along with two other people, of being part of the shooting of Orlan Peterson, who was 66 at the time he was shot and left in a utility trailer on the White Star Road, just north of Prince Albert last October. He wounds were serious but he has since left hospital and is recovering.

Angus Heathen, age 33, and Melissa McCallum are in custody while they await the outcome of their trials on gun and assault charges.

After Peterson was shot the morning of October 24, the suspects took his truck and drove it over 200 kms northeast, stopping only when a rock truck being used to work on Highway 123 was driven into their path.

Witnesses at the scene saw three or four suspects get out of the vehicle and run into the nearby woods.

Heathen and McCallum were found by a police helicopter the same day and taken into custody but Fulton has not been found by police since, despite a lengthy search at the time.
