Serious collision shuts down Highway 4 south of North Battleford

Highway 4 near Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation and Red Pheasant will be closed for an undetermined amount of time as Battelfords RCMP investigate a serious collision.
Police announced the closure Thursday morning at 10 a.m., and said the investigation is in preliminary stages. No additional details are available at this time.
Detours are in place, and motorists should expect delays in the area. Drivers are asked to slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
