Melfort won a second-straight Canalta Cup SJHL championship. The Mustangs also had the best goal differential, the most goals, the least goals against, the best power play, and the best penalty kill in the SJHL during the regular season.

The Mustangs played five games in six days to close out the Centennial Cup, managing to make it to the championship game for a second straight season.

A championship barbecue will take place at the Melfort Fire Hall on Wednesday, May 21.

The free barbecue will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and is sponsored by Prairie North Co-op.
