Scam alert: North Battleford warns of bogus City workers at your door

Trying to sell you something and claiming they’re with the City? That’s a scam.

The City of North Battleford issued a statement Thursday warning residents about individuals posing as municipal workers while going door-to-door offering security systems for sale.

Officials say the City does not conduct door-to-door sales of any kind, and the individuals involved are not employees or representatives.

The matter has been reported to Community Safety Officers (CSOs) for investigation.

Anyone who experiences a similar encounter is encouraged to contact CSOs at 306-445-1775 or the Battlefords RCMP at 306-446-1720.
