Fire ban
Fire ban in effect in R.M. of Bjorkdale

The Rural Municipality (R.M.) of Bjorkdale No. 426 has once again issued a fire ban.
The ban was put in place on Friday due to the extreme fire hazard conditions.
“No person shall light, or start or allow or cause to be lighted, ignited or started a fire of any kind whatsoever in the open air during a fire ban,” the declaration read. “The lighting or discharging of fireworks is strictly prohibited.”
A prior fire ban that had been in place in the municipality had been lifted before the Victoria Day long weekend.
