The World Darts Festival will be held in Budapest this Fall and two young women from Prince Albert have received invitations to attend.

Declyn Keays and Shanae Johnstone are two of the four Saskatchewan players who received letters from the National Darts Federation of Canada. Keays was told at the Nationals awards ceremony which was held last Sunday night.

“I was just like I was in shock. I wasn’t expecting to get one,” she said.

Both Keays and Johnstone played very well at Nationals in Quebec. As a team they placed second in doubles, and as a singles’ competitor, Keays finished in a tie for third.
