Big River RCMP investigating fatal side-by-side collision

Big River RCMP are investigating a collision involving a side-by-side and a van on Highway #55 about four kilometers south of Debden.

The crash happened on May 24 around 5:25 p.m.

Police along with EMS arrived on scene to find a van and a side-by-side had collided, and the sole occupant of the side-by-side was declared dead on scene.

The deceased was identified as a 67-year-old man from Debden. No other details were provided other than his family was notified.

The driver of the van, along with two passengers, were not injured in the collision.
