The Melfort Mustangs have committed yet another future player to their organization. This marks the fifth Melfort commit in the last month.

Jack Mcharg will be a member of the Blue and Green for the 2025/26 season. His commitment was announced by the team in the last week, during the midst of their year-end celebrations following another SJHL Championship and National silver medal.

Mcharg has spent his past two years with the U18 AAA Calgary Flames of the Alberta Elite Hockey League (AEHL).

In a combined 93 regular and postseason games, the 2007-born forward amassed 26 goals and 47 assists for 73 points.

The Calgary, Alta. native stands at six feet one and weighs in at 161 pounds.
