CSOs; RCMP looking for red Dodge that hit school bus

More than 40 students and three adults riding a Conseil des écoles fransaskoises school bus escaped injury after a red Dodge pickup collied with the bus.

North Battleford Community Safety Officers and Battlefords RCMP are now looking for the vehicle which had been pulled over in a routine CSO traffic stop when “it fled the scene” and ended up hitting the bus before driving away.

The incident happened earlier Wednesday afternoon near the corner of 15th Ave and 109th St.

Anyone with information is now asked to call the CSOs at 306-445-1775 or Battlefords RCMP at 306-446-1720.

Updates are expected later this afternoon.
