Creighton residents warned by Town to leave immediately

May 30, 2025 | 9:30 AM

A terse warning from the Town of Creighton as wildfires plague the region.

“Anyone who does not need to be here in Town needs to leave NOW,” the Town of Creighton posted on their social media page.

“We may lose access to the highways leaving the community,” the post added.

Residents are being advised to evacuate via Highway 10 to Highway 39, then on to Highway 6, and they are reminded to check the Highway Hotline for more information.

An evacuation notice was issued in Creighton on Wednesday, and nearby Flin Flon, Man., and Denare Beach were also given evacuation orders, with wildfires threatening each community.

Both Saskatchewan and Manitoba have issued States of Emergency due to the raging wildfires in both provinces.
