La Ronge man charged following shooting

RCMP have charged a local man with break-and-enter and aggravated assault.
A media release states that on Thursday afternoon at around 12:30, police received a report of a shooting at a residence on Jeannie Bird Street.
An investigation determined that a man entered the residence and discharged a firearm, striking an occupant. The victim, also a man, was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
Officers located a vehicle on Cessna Street later that evening and arrested the occupants. A firearm was located and seized from the vehicle.
