Jun 2, 2025 | 2:26 PM

More than 20 vandalized vehicles in Prince Albert’s East Hill area are being connected to a woman who was found carrying a pipe wrench.

On May 31, at around 3:30 a.m., police were called to the 400 block of 26 Street East for a report of a disturbance.

Further information stated someone was hitting vehicles with a pipe wrench.

Police quickly responded and located a woman matching the suspect’s description on Fouth Avenue between 26 Street and 27 Street East.

The suspect was carrying a wrench in her hand which was seized by police before she was arrested. Police also surveyed the surrounding area and located more than 20 vehicles with visible damage.

Both trucks and cars were targeted. (Nigel Maxwell/ paNOW Staff)

A local resident told paNOW the majority of the damage was done to the side mirrors, which can be a very expensive venture to repair.

Upon arrival at police detention, the woman became uncooperative and lunged at a police officer. As a result of this investigation, the 20-year-old woman has been charged with assaulting police, and mischief under $5,000 (x25).

As of Monday, she had not appeared in court and a date had not been set.
