Battlefords’ generosity leads to donation hold
The Battlefords, you’ve proven to be so generous, the donation centre is stuffed.
The original call for donations by the City of North Battleford and partners came just yesterday (June. 5) and the response by residents, groups and organizations so swift that they are placing a hold on donations and thank everyone for their support.
Should more items and supplies be needed, another call out will be issued. However, the Battlefords Healthcare Foundation continues to accept items for their comfort and trauma kits, and those who wish to donate may call 306-446-6652 or visit the Foundation at the Battlefords Union Hospital.
The city also wishes to remind evacuees in North Battleford to make sure they are registered with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency by calling 1-855-559-5502.
