Temporary emergency services disruption at Biggar & District Health Centre

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is advising the public of a temporary disruption to emergency services at the Biggar & District Health Centre. Emergency services at the facility will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6 until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9.

This disruption affects only emergency services. Long-term care (LTC) services at the health centre will continue as usual.

During this time, residents in need of urgent medical care are advised to seek assistance at the following alternative locations:

• Battleford Union Hospital
• Facilities in Saskatoon
• Kerrobert & District Health Centre

In the event of an emergency, call 911 immediately. For non-emergency health-related questions or concerns, the public can contact HealthLine at 811, a toll-free service available 24 hours a day.
