The Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) announced on Monday that they put pen to paper with a graduating Prince Albert Minto.

Kanyan Unger is off to soar with the Eagles in Jr. A next season, following a one-year stint in Prince Albert.

Unger played in all but one game for P.A. last season netting 11 goals and 21 assists, enough to finish fourth in team scoring at the end of the year. Prior to donning the Green and Gold, Unger played two seasons in Moose Jaw for the Warriors.

In the AJHL last season, the Eagles finished second in the South Division and third overall in the league with a 36-12-5-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record, before being bounced in seven games in the opening round of the playoffs.
