P.A. police investigate West Flat shooting

Prince Albert Police are investigating following a shooting that occurred Saturday night at a West Flat apartment complex.

A thick line of yellow tape was observed around the building.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., police were called to the 800 block of 12th Street West for a report of a man who had been stabbed. White en route, further information stated the man was actually shot.

Arriving officers located an injured male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Officers rendered first aid before Parkland Ambulance arrived on scene and transported the man to hospital for further treatment.

Police are continuing to investigate this shooting and are asking anyone with information that may assist in the investigation to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
