Predators clinch playoff spot following seventh straight win
The Prince Albert Predators are the first team to punch their ticket to the playoffs in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League (PGLL) this season.
P.A. clinched their seat in the dance on Saturday during a battle for first place, which saw the Preds down the visiting Moose Jaw Mustangs in a high scoring affair, 21-14.
The win is the seventh in a row for the Predators, who remain atop the league with a 7-0-1 (W-L-T) record.
The Blue and Gold dominated the first two periods, outscoring Moose Jaw 19-8 while outshooting them 43-34. However, the Mustangs had the Predators on a leash in the third and won the final frame 6-2 and outshot P.A. 15-10.
