PA Police investigate suspected arson at Little Red River Park

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating a series of fires that were lit on Monday night at Little Red River Park.
Ar 7:30 p.m., the city’s fire department (PAFD) initially responded to the park area for a bush fire.
On arrival they discovered there were several separate fires burning, from as small as 10’x20’ and the largest approximately 200’ X 300’.
The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency had two helicopters making multiple water drops on the locations while PAFD members worked on the ground to contain the fire. After two hours the fire was declared under control and crews cooled hotspots.
