Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission hosting event in Humboldt
The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission (SHRC) is hosting an evening event in Humboldt focused on human rights in the province. The meeting is at the Uniplex Tuesday evening, starting at 6:30 p.m.
“This event offers an opportunity to learn more about your rights under The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code and to take part in a meaningful conversation about the human rights issues that matter to you and your community,” a Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission news release stated. “Whether you’re looking to better understand your rights or share your ideas and concerns about advancing equity and justice in Saskatchewan, your voice is welcome and valued.”
The SHRC said those in attendance can learn about the rights and protections offered under The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code, understand how to identify and address, share concerns, experiences, and ideas for improving human rights protections, and understand how to identify and address discrimination.
“Be part of this important conversation and help shape a stronger, more inclusive future for everyone in our province,” the release said.
