Thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry (watches) was allegedly stolen after a break-and-enter at a business in downtown Prince Albert.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Service are investigating, and the person responsible has not yet been caught.

Early Sunday morning, around 2 a.m., officers responded to a business in the 1200 block of Central Avenue.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers circulated the surrounding area but were unable to locate anyone matching the suspect description. Upon arrival at the business, officers observed damage consistent with a break and enter and theft.
