RCMP renew calls for information about fatal hit-and-run at Red Earth

Looking for answers more than a year after a fatal hit-and-run.

Carrot River RCMP and the Prince Albert General Investigation Section (GIS) are looking for your help to find the person responsible for the hit-and-run on Red Earth Cree Nation.

The incident happened at approximately 4 a.m. on Feb. 12, 2024.

Ericson Bear was found deceased after being hit by a motor vehicle that left the scene after the collision.

Police are looking for any information in connection with this case, and you can call 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) if you have any knowledge of the hit-and-run.
