Kidnapping suspect to have trial in November

A man facing kidnapping and other charges after an incident in the Melfort area early this year will stand trial in November.

Tyrell Yeo faces multiple charges, including kidnapping, assault, and break-and-enter stemming from the incident Feb. 24 in the Melfort RCMP detachment area.

Yeo was briefly wanted by the RCMP before being found and arrested in Humboldt.

He will go to trial starting Nov. 26 at Melfort’s Court of King’s Bench.

The victim in this case reported non-life-threatening injuries to the police.
