Nearly two days after a crash in Prince Albert’s East Flat area that sent two people to hospital, the city’s police service is confirming there have been no arrests.

Early Sunday afternoon, a red truck was observed barrelling through the intersection at fourth street and 15th Ave. E. and struck a northbound grey car.

Prince Albert police, Parkland Ambulance and the city’s fire department all responded to the scene and Parkland Ambulance later confirmed the two people inside the car were taken to hospital in good condition.

Multiple witnesses reported seeing the same red truck at various other locations across the city, driving dangerously.

And another person reported who reached out to paNOW said the truck stolen earlier that day from an address in the west flat.

They said the owner was approached and had his life threatened by three people (two men and a woman) and then assaulted.

As of Monday he was still in hospital.
