Prince Albert man wins $100K with Lotto Spot app

Prince Albert local Stewart Williams was restless on the night of May 30, but maybe that itch that kept him awake was a sign of what was to come. He decided to open his phone and check on his Western Max Extra ticket he had bought through the Lotto Spot app.
It was then he discovered he won $100,000.
“I had to look twice at the screen to be sure I was seeing it right,” he said. “My wife woke up and I showed her my phone—we’re just both in shock!”
Williams won because the last six digits of his ticket matched the last six digits of the selection draw, 4915969, on May 30. While Williams regularly plays the lotto, this is far and away the biggest win he’s had.
