We are thrilled to announce that two of our outstanding Sharks swimmers, Clara G. and Ali D., have been officially selected to represent Team Saskatchewan at the 2025 Canada Summer Games, taking place this August in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Clara G. has established herself as one of the premier distance swimmers in the province. At the most recent ManSask Swimming Championships, she captured gold in the 1500m freestyle, showcasing her endurance and tactical strength. In addition to her distance prowess, Clara continues to rank among the top performers in backstroke events, making her a versatile and formidable competitor on the national stage.

Meanwhile, Ali D. continues to inspire as one of Canada’s brightest para-swimming talents. Known across Saskatchewan and beyond, Ali delivered an extraordinary performance at the recent Canadian Trials, earning gold in the 100m breaststroke.

This achievement not only secured her place on Team Sask for the Canada Games, but also earned her a prestigious spot on Team Canada for the upcoming World Championships in Singapore later this summer.

This remarkable milestone is a testament to Clara and Ali’s exceptional talent, relentless dedication, and the countless hours of hard work they’ve invested in the pool. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments and are excited to cheer them on as they represent Saskatchewan with pride, passion, and true sportsmanship.

Let’s go Sharks!
