Northern Healthcare Classic raises over $76,000 for Victoria Hospital
Cooke Municipal Golf Course was the setting for The Lynx – Northern Healthcare Classic golf tournament on June 27.
Between donations from local businesses, families, and healthcare champions, a total of $70,060 was raised for the Victoria Hospital. The money raised is set to go towards the Victoria Hospital Tower, which when completed will offer advanced care and modern facilities towards the northern region of Saskatchewan.
“It’s incredible to see what happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose,” said Cody Barnett, CEO of the Boreal Healthcare Foundation. “Golf is fun, yes, but we do this to support families who rely on their local hospital. Every swing, every donation, and every cheer brings us one step closer to building a healthier future for the North.”
The two person scramble golf tournament offered two flights to play in.
