Ontario police are looking for a missing 16-year-old who was reported to be in Pelican Narrows.

Saskatchewan RCMP were contacted by Peel Region’s Criminal Investigation Division to help find Jay’siiah, who they said is a vulnerable person. No last name was provided by police.

Jay’siiah was last seen on March 27 leaving his home in Brampton, and his mother has been in contact with him over Instagram, but not since May 16.

He is male, black, standing 5’11” tall with a slim build and has black, shoulder-length curly hair, worn in braids. He was last seen wearing a black Nike Tech tracksuit, a black bubble jacket with a hood, grey socks, white Nike Air Force 1 shoes, and he was carrying a black FILA duffel bag with lime green trim.

Investigation led police to a home in Pelican Narrows, and upon arriving at the residence, they learned that it had been evacuated due to wildfires.

Anyone with information on Jay’siiah’s whereabouts is asked to call investigators with the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 2233. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
