Truck collides with gas pump before hitting liquor store

One man and one woman were taken to hospital by Parkland Ambulance Wednesday after an accident that ended with a vehicle through the wall of a liquor store.

The Prince Albert Police Service issued a statement around 5:30 p.m. saying they were on scene at the 3600 block of 5th Ave. E.

The accident happened just after 3 p.m. A pickup, according to photos shared on social media, pulled one gas pump right off its base before crashing into the store.

According to information shared on the Prince Albert Fire Department’s social media page, the vehicle crossed Marquis Road from the westbound lane and also struck a motorcycle.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. Fire crews assisted EMS, and cleaned up fluid and debris.
