Timberjaks to open 2025-26 season at home
The Prince Albert Timberjaks will begin the 2025-26 Prairie Junior Hockey League (PJHL) season on home ice.
The Jaks will kick off the new season against the Saskatoon Quakers at home at the Northern Regional Rec. Centre (NRRC) on Sept. 26 with puck drop slated for 7:30 p.m. Before the season starts though, P.A. and Saskatoon will also battle in an exhibition contest 10 days prior on Sept. 16, also at the NRRC.
To close out the regular season, the Timberjaks will play three games in four days beginning on Feb. 12. That’s when P.A. will face the Westleys in Saskatoon before trekking to Carrot River on Feb. 13. The regular season finale is scheduled for Feb. 15, when Prince Albert welcomes the Westleys to the NRRC.
Speaking of their rival Carrot River, the Timberjaks and the Outback Thunder will do battle six times this season. The first three are all in Prince Albert, Oct. 3, Nov. 14, and Nov. 21, while the final three meetings between the teams are in Carrot River on Dec. 13, Jan. 2, and the earlier mentioned matchup on the final weekend of the season on Feb. 13.
