Search underway for teen girl last seen three weeks ago in North Battleford

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for more than three weeks.

Taliyah Kakum was last seen in North Battleford on June 27, and was reported missing on July 18.

Since then, Battlefords RCMP said officers have followed up on tips and checked places the teen is known to visit, but she has not yet been found.

Kakum is described as 5-11, 136 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She has a lip piercing and was last seen wearing a black top, black jacket, black gym pants and bright high-top shoes.

Also, she is known to travel to Saskatoon and Poundmaker First Nation.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Battlefords RCMP at 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
