15-year-old dies in ATV rollover on Buffalo River Dene Nation

Buffalo Narrows RCMP continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding an accident that killed a 15-year-old boy from Buffalo River Dene Nation.

Police received a report on Wednesday, around 1 p.m. about a rollover involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Hwy 925 in the community about 45 minutes north of Prince Albert.

Officers responded immediately along with local EMS. The operator of the ATV was transported to the local medical facility, but later died of his injuries.
