A 30-year-old man who was last arrested in May, was back in police custody this past weekend for more drug charges.

Tyson Tobey was arrested by Prince Albert RCMP while officers were doing proactive patrols and stopped a vehicle in Redwing at about 4 p.m. on Friday.

Around 64 grams of meth, some cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia were found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested.

Tobey was charged with possession of the proceeds of crime, possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

On May 23, Tobey was arrested by Prince Albert Police in the Midtown area and subsequently given 26 charges after police found over 100 grams of cocaine, 700 grams of meth, six guns and two crossbows.

He was granted bail on June 18 and made his most recent appearance on those charges on July 22.

His first appearance on his new charges was in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning.
