18-year-old driver facing charges after 13-year-old passenger killed in Regina crash
An 18-year-old man is facing criminal charges after a crash that left a 13-year-old passenger dead last week in Regina.
According to the Regina Police Service, officers were called to the intersection of Sixth Avenue North and Smith Street at around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday.
“When they arrived, they found a vehicle that appeared to have collided with a power pole and then rolled,” the police force explained in a statement.
“A 13-year-old victim, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was declared deceased on scene.”
