Charges dismissed against PA Police officer

Aug 19, 2025 | 10:51 AM

Charges of assault laid against PA Police officer, Const. Dillon Husky have been dismissed.

Court records show that Husky was to have been tried on June 16 and 27 but those dates were vacated, and the matter was sent to alternative measures.

On August 11, a provincial court judge dismissed the charges.

Husky was first charged on September 27, 2023 after the Prince Albert Police sent a request to the Public Complaints Commission (PCC).

The PCC assigned an investigator who recommended that charges be laid of one count of assault from an incident on July 1, 2022 and two counts from an incident on July 22 of the same year.

Husky was assigned to desk duty pending the resolution of the matters. He first joined the PA Police in 2019. He has still not returned to regular duties.
