The Tisdale Trojans have added a player to their roster for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Local product, Oliver Homstol, is joining his hometown team at the age of just 15.

Last season, the forward played in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the OHA Edmonton U15 Prep club. In 33 regular-season contests, Homstol had four goals and nine assists for 13 points. He also experienced three games of postseason action.

Meanwhile, during the 2023/24 campaign, Homstol spent his time in the Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL) with U14 HC Edmonton. He amassed 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points in 33 regular matches. The five-foot-eight, 146-pound product went on to add three goals and an assist (four points) in eight playoff games that year.

“Oliver will bring a fast and powerful game to the Trojans, and we are looking forward to having him back playing in Tisdale,” read a Facebook post from the Trojans.

Tisdale finished fifth in the league last year, before falling to the Saskatoon Blazers in the first round of the postseason.
