Pedestrian hospitalized after weekend collision in Meadow Lake

RCMP are investigating after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Meadow Lake over the weekend.

Police said officers were called to Highway 4 on Saturday around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 after reports of a vehicle striking a man.

The adult male pedestrian was taken to hospital with what police describe as serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and the investigation is still ongoing.
