RCMP charge three men following robbery in Loon Lake, two remain at large
Loon Lake RCMP have arrested one of three men charged in following a robbery and ATV theft last week.
Police said they first received a report of a robbery on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation on Aug. 21 at around 9:30 a.m.
Officers determined that two of the men, one armed with a gun, had broken into a home on the old townsite, while the third man remained outside. The suspects then left the residence and managed to hijack an ATV after threatening its occupants, who did not report any injuries to police.
The ATV is described as a black 2024 CFMOTO CForce 400 ATV with two storage boxes, one on the front and one on the back. No photo was provided.
