While no charges have yet been laid, Saskatchewan RCMP said they have found over a dozen imitation guns and some ammunition from the school that was inhabited by ‘Queen Romana’ Didulo and her followers in Richmound.

A search warrant for the decommissioned school was obtained after a report on August 25 that someone in the building had a gun.

Yesterday morning at around 4:30 am, RCMP executed a search warrant on the building, which Didulo streamed live online. The video is highly pixelated and shows her complying with officer demands.

Police arrested 16 adults at the scene, including Didulo. Of those, 10 were inside the building, five were in RVs outside of the building and one person was arrested outside a residence in the home.

30 police cars and two tactical squads, including the RCMP Emergency Response Team and Regina City Police’s SWAT, were involved.

The search continued throughout the day with officers finding the 13 imitation handguns, the ammunition, and a large number of electronic devices.

Didulo maintains a social media presence including on Facebook and Telegram.

All 16 people along with Romana herself were released from custody but a man and a woman have since been re-arrested.

No charges have been laid against any of the 16 people as of yet, but police say their investigation continues.
