RCMP, TSB reveal more information about plane crash near Cumberland House
More details have been released about the plane crash near Cumberland House on Tuesday.
The Nipawin Fire Department was notified of the crash, but other agencies were on-scene before they could respond.
The Transportation Safety Board has responded with more information about the crash.
“The TSB has been notified that a privately registered float-equipped Piper PA22-150X was conducting a flight from Flin-Flon, MB to Moose Jaw, SK,” TSB Media Relations Coordinator Liam MacDonald told northeastNOW via email. “During the flight, the aircraft crashed in a forest approximately 16 nautical miles west of Cumberland House, SK.”
