Melfort RCMP investigating theft of front-end loader, damage to bales

Melfort RCMP want your help to solve a couple of recent crimes.

A heavy-duty front-end loader owned by the RM of Kinistino was stolen sometime between Aug. 12 and 29.

The loader is an orange/yellow and black 2012 Case 721F model.

On Aug. 26, a resident in the RM of Pleasantdale told RCMP that 18 bales in his field east of Naicam were damaged.

Police believe someone entered the field and struck and moved the bales around with a vehicle, and the landowner is now out the cost of the damaged bales and the time needed to clean the mess left behind.
