Sep 5, 2025 | 6:00 PM

A 25-year-old man is being sought by RCMP following an altercation in Red Wing two days ago.

Prince Albert RCMP say that just before 5 p.m. on Sept. 3, they, along with EMS, were called to the community north of the city for a report of an injured man.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two men were in a truck in Red Wing and began fighting, leading to the injuries to the victim, who got out of the vehicle and ran on foot. The suspect then stole the truck, which was later found inside Prince Albert with no one in it.

A knife was found and seized from inside the truck.

Police are now looking to find Tristen Michel, 25, a resident of Prince Albert.

He is facing charges of robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, theft of the truck and several other charges.

There is an outstanding warrant for his arrest, and the public is asked to report any sightings or knowledge of his whereabouts.

Michel is described as 5’7” tall and weighing about 160 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair. No photo was provided.

The public is advised to not approach Michel. All sightings can be called in to 310-RCMP or submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
