RCMP investigate shooting in Little Red River

One resident of Little Red River First Nation is in serious condition in hospital after being shot in a home in the community early this morning.

Prince Albert RCMP were called at 2:15 a.m. to the community and learned there had been a fight between a group of people and a man was shot.

He is now in hospital and his truck was stolen after the shooting.

Three people were arrested at the home afterwards but RCMP have not yet laid any charges.

Investigators continue to search for the stolen pick-up truck, a white 2024 Chevrolet Silverado with Saskatchewan licence plate 287 NHJ.
