Pedestrian vs. vehicle collision sends woman to hospital

A 40-year-old woman was transported to hospital Thursday evening after she was struck by a vehicle.

At 5:38p.m., Prince Albert Police, Prince Albert Fire Dept. and Parkland Ambulance responded to the intersection of 15th Street and sixth Ave. E. for a vehicle versus pedestrian incident.

A social media post by the city’s fire department, noted crews found a person lying in the street.

“The person had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the avenue mid block.”

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was questioned by police.

The woman’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening and she was listed in stable condition when she was taken to hospital for further care.
