The Fall Festival is returning to North Battleford on Saturday.

Battlefords North Stars Marketing Manager Kennedy Schmidt said that the day will be filled with fun activities, including a three-on-three street hockey tournament featuring North Stars players and a shoot-to-win event.

“We’re going to have a shoot-to-win for all the youth to come out. It’ll be $5 for three shots and you’ll get your chance to win a spot in our 2026 hockey school next season… We still have some spots that we could fill if you wanted to show up for Saturday afternoon to come play some games.”

Along with the street hockey and shoot-to-win, North Battleford BID Executive Director Kori Hummenny said the Fall Festival will be packed with lots of classic carnival events.

“We have bouncy castles, dunk tank, vendor booths, food trucks, obviously the three-on-three, a petting zoo, crafts, face painting, airbrush tattoos. We have like kids style carnival games that will be happening. That is sponsored by like a separate group, but it’s a bunch of church groups that have gotten together and they’re going to provide that. Think ring toss, that kind of stuff.”

Fall Festival will also have live music to go along with the events.

“We’re going to have Stereo Playground as our main entertainment. They’re doing three different sets and then we have some smaller acts in between. They’re going to be incredible.”

Hummenny added that the Fall Festival is made possible by the help of local sponsors in the community.

“We have sponsors for the three on three. We have Swanson and Gryba, Tim Hortons, and the Danish Home Bakery. They all took care of, you know, covering some of our food and drink and of course our swag bags. And then for our fall festival, we have SIIT, and they sponsored the bouncy castle, jousting ring, and the dunk tank. We have BATC Health Centre, and they are doing demos of indigenous games. And then we also have Swanson and Gryba again and they sponsored our photo booth.”

The Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13th from noon to 5:00 pm on 101 Street between 11th Avenue and 14th Avenue.
