A portion of Second Ave. W in Prince Albert was shut down on Wednesday afternoon after a semi hauling animal carcasses spilled onto the road.
Prince Albert Police blocked off the northbound lanes between 22nd and 23rd Street West to allow for city crews to clear the road.
A front-end loader was seen scooping up the carcasses and animal remains, while a dump truck poured sand across the road to soak up what was left. Street cleaners then came by to sweep away the sand, and the road was reopened.
