WATCH: Wakaw students come aboard for railway safety lesson

As part of National Rail Safety Week, Grade 4 students from Wakaw school were invited to come aboard the Wheatland Express and learned a number of safety lessons.
Amy Lintick, director of operations and programs with Canadian Safety Train, told the children every crossing, every train, and every community deserves attention and care.
“By learning safe habits now, you are helping keep yourself, your friends, your family, and your community safe,” she said.
paNOW was also invited to join the half-hour train ride.
